Despite his background in opera and stage performance, Russian R&B vocalist George Hodos always harbored a desire to become a pop musician. For years, he toured his country as part of a children’s opera and later attended The Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. He released his debut album, The Voice, in 2007, which showcased his tender, expressive voice and made him a star in Russia. The next goal was reaching the U.S. market. He recorded a set of adult contemporary R&B titled Just a Man, a 2010 album, his first stateside release.
